Family Intervention Service
Supporting Safe, Strong and Connected Families
The Connected Families Foundation delivers an intensive Family Intervention Service (FIS) for families involved in the child protection system. Our service supports families facing complex challenges such as trauma, mental health concerns, family violence, substance use, parenting difficulties, and housing instability.
We work closely with parents, children, and Child Safety to help families achieve their case plan goals and create safe, stable, and nurturing home environments. Through regular home visits, ongoing guidance, and collaborative planning, we build parenting capacity, strengthen family relationships, and reduce risks impacting child safety and wellbeing.
Progress is monitored and shared with Child Safety to ensure clear communication, accountability, and positive, sustainable outcomes for families.
